When installed in combination with nVent NuHeat heating cables and a thermostat, it creates a reliable, energy-efficient radiant floor heating solution. The system provides soothing heat to tile and stone floors. It is energy-efficient and easy to install. Chemflex NuHeat floor mat is a flooring underlayment that can be installed over the entire subfloor for uncoupling, crack isolation (crack in the floor prevention), and waterproofing purposes. Unlike the standard Chemflex NuHeat membrane sheet, the Peel & Stick version features a factory-applied pressure-sensitive adhesive backing protected by a release liner, eliminating the need for thin-set mortar beneath the membrane. This innovative design reduces floor buildup, speeds installation, and creates a strong, lasting bond to properly primed substrates. Integrated mortar vents cut into the top of each square-shaped column allow thin-set mortar applied above to flow through and bond directly to the substrate below, ensuring a permanent, secure tile installation with even floor heat distribution.
