ROSIE THE RIVETER'S COLLAR PIN in a beautiful red gift box, is more accurately known as Rosie’s Employment Badge. We researched the pin displayed on Rosie’s collar in the “We Can Do It!” iconic World War II poster by J. Howard Miller. Then we went to the national archives to see how the actual pins—employment badges—looked and the materials they used. Only a few remain since employers asked that they be returned when the women were sent home after the war. These were destroyed. Based on our investigations, we created our Rosie the Riveter Collar Pin, as close to the original as you can get. Rosies wore their badges to work each day.
