About the Artist

Katya Krasnova is a Los Angeles-based tattoo artist, ceramicist, painter, and designer whose adventurous spirit flows through every aspect of her work. As the founder of Puppy Studio, she’s known for her signature "cat punk" style—a fusion of her love for cats, punk rock, and nature. Starting her artistic journey at just seven years old in Kyiv’s Children’s Academy of Arts, she later honed her skills at the Art Institute before diving into tattooing at 19.

Katya’s art is as influenced by her wanderlust as it is by her love for cats. She has traveled across Europe, tattooing in major cities and balancing her creative work with hiking and backcountry camping. Back in the U.S., she’s completed more than ten cross-country trips, drawing inspiration from the landscapes and experiences along the way. With her unique blend of punk influences, feline passion, and deep connection to nature, Katya’s work embodies the raw, adventurous spirit that defines her.
