The cast iron pot from Römertopf in deep green with 24 cm diameter and 3.5 litres usable volume is the versatile casserole and roasting dish for 2-3 people. Whether stewing, goulash, coq au vin, chili con carne or a crispy bread directly from the oven - the solid cast iron retains heat for a particularly long time and distributes it evenly to the food. Food cooks gently even when the hob is already switched off. The bright enamel coating inside is smooth and tasteless. Food does not stick, the browning level can be easily controlled. Unlike uncoated cast iron, no baking is required - the pot is ready to use. The enamel permanently protects the cast iron from rust and is free from PFAS, PTFE and nickel. The pot works on all types of cookers: induction, gas, glass ceramic, electric and halogen. Thanks to its oven resistance up to 250 degrees Celsius, it is suitable for dishes that start on the hob and finish cooking in the oven. The heavy cast lid with condensation nubs securely locks in steam and aromas. At 5.1 kg, the pot sits stably on any cooking area. The enamel coating makes it shockproof, scratch resistant and rustproof. It is not dishwasher safe, but can be easily cleaned with warm water and a soft sponge.
